Voice Consent & Release

1. Parties

Voice Owner: the person whose voice is being used. Creator/Account Holder: the YourStoryVoice user who will use the rendered voice. If the Voice Owner is deceased, an Authorized Representative with legal authority signs on their behalf.

2. Grant of Consent & Release

The Voice Owner authorizes the creation of a synthetic voice (a "voiceprint") from voice samples provided, and its use to generate audio renderings of stories on the Creator's account. The Voice Owner releases the Company and the Creator from claims arising out of the authorized creation and use of the voiceprint.

3. Scope of Use

The voiceprint will be used solely to narrate stories within the Creator's YourStoryVoice account. It will not be sold, licensed to third parties, or used for advertising without a separate written agreement.

4. Data Retention & Deletion

Voice samples and the resulting voiceprint are stored securely and processed only to provide the Service. Either party may request deletion of the voiceprint and samples at any time by contacting support@yourstoryvoice.com. Upon deletion, the synthetic voice will be disabled and no new renderings will be produced, but prior renderings already delivered are not recalled.

5. Representations & Warranties

• The Creator represents that the Voice Owner is 18 years of age or older, or that the Creator is the Voice Owner's authorized legal representative.
• The Creator represents that the Voice Owner has read and freely consents to this agreement.
• Both parties acknowledge that the voice produced is AI-synthesized, not a live recording of the person speaking the specific words.

6. Withdrawal of Consent

This consent may be withdrawn at any time by requesting deletion of the voice through account settings or by contacting support. Withdrawal does not affect any renderings already produced and delivered.

7. Digital Signature

Acceptance of this Consent via the in-app checkbox constitutes a legally binding digital signature. The acceptance is recorded with a timestamp, session identifier, and user agent string for audit purposes, in accordance with applicable electronic signature laws.

8. Governing Law

This Consent is governed by the laws of the State of Wyoming. Disputes are subject to the arbitration and dispute resolution procedures in the Terms of Service.
