By accessing or using Your Story Voice (the "Service") in any way — including browsing the website, creating an account, or subscribing — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, please discontinue use of the Service immediately.
Your Story Voice provides a platform for users to create AI-powered voice clones of family members and generate personalized audio recordings of children's stories. The Service includes voice recording, voice cloning powered by ElevenLabs, a library of public-domain and licensed stories, and tools for sharing audio content.
Certain features of the Service require a paid subscription. By subscribing, you authorize us to charge your payment method on a recurring monthly or annual basis. You may cancel your subscription at any time; cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. All fees are non-refundable except as required by law.
You represent and warrant that you have the legal right to submit any voice recordings you provide. You may only clone voices of individuals who have given explicit consent. You retain ownership of your recordings; however, you grant us a limited license to process them solely for the purpose of providing the Service. We do not sell your voice data to third parties.
You agree not to use the Service to: (a) clone voices without the individual's consent; (b) generate content that is harmful, defamatory, or illegal; (c) circumvent any security or access controls; (d) resell or redistribute generated audio without authorization.
The Service, including its software, design, and original content, is owned by Your Story Voice and protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Public-domain story texts are not proprietary; however, our audio renderings and platform are protected.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that voice clones will meet your expectations. Use of the Service is at your own risk.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Your Story Voice shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the Service. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.
Our Service is intended for use by adults on behalf of children. We do not knowingly collect personal information directly from children under 13. Parents or guardians are responsible for supervising their children's interaction with content generated by the Service.
Except for claims brought in small claims court, any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Service shall be resolved by binding arbitration administered by JAMS in accordance with its Arbitration Rules & Procedures. The arbitration shall be conducted on an individual basis; class actions and representative actions are not permitted. Both parties waive the right to a jury trial and the right to bring claims in court. The arbitrator may award any relief that a court of competent jurisdiction could award under applicable law, including damages and attorneys' fees.
The arbitration shall take place in Wyoming, or at another location agreed upon by the parties. Each party shall bear its own costs and attorney's fees, except the arbitrator may award reasonable attorneys' fees and costs if the arbitrator determines that the non-prevailing party's claim or defense was frivolous.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the State of Wyoming, without regard to conflict of law principles.
We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes via email or a prominent notice on the Service. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
